Magic Carpet Ride - Buffalo

this version of steppenwolf's 'magic carpet ride' by buffalo is out of the stratosphere!! featured on our blackout 77 mix a couple of years back

Pasteur Lappe - As Far As I Can Remember

this lesser known cameroon singer and band leader released 3 lp's as far as i know, and this 12" with the sublime 'as far as i can remember' cut not available elsewhere, the sexy french spoken word vocal always hit's the spot, shame about the saxophone and not so pleasant chorus but the verses and instrumentation make for more than a worthwhile listen...

Grethe Agatz – Ekkoleg

i believe this is a french pressing of a spanish movie sung in danish but i could be mistaken, feel free to correct me, lineage aside this is a wonderfully unique track with a simple melody and an adorable kids vocal that will float around your head for days to come, be warned...

Margo Guryan - Sun

nyc born singer songwriter margo guryan, had a hit from the same lp with sunday mornin' also recorded by spanky and her gang, she also wrote hits for cass elliot, glen campbell and astrud gilberto, among others. check out the awesome track 'sun'. sing along and pray for more!!!

Circus Underwater - The Surface Of The Water

when i first heard this i was convinced it was massive attack, but this downtempo electronic masterpiece was recorded in 1984 and released on a tiny private label. super scarce and super dope!!

Richard Torrance - Anything's Possible

this is the kind of record i'd imagine finding in a dollar bin in california but i actually found this gem in berlin a couple of years ago. the title of the lp is the only winner on this album, such a sweet summery anthem, it soon became one of the favourite's on our celestial love mix for test pressing. as it was also the only track not identified by the anoraks so we thought we'd unleash it here and put a few minds at rest..

Adolf Stern - More I Like It

when we first dropped this at disco bloodbath a couple of years back the crowd went totally bananas, you want more?? hell yeah, we can never get enough of this!!

A Band Called O - Coasting

super psyched out stoner cut that floats between jazz blues and balearic, takes a little while to get going then the real joy unfolds on this beautiful track recorded in Germany in 1976, just add beach...

Nicky Bulldog - Dog Power Song

heavy glam disco jam with quirky high pitched vox, evil bassline and tripped out orchestral arrangements, this wee nugget recorded in 1976 is all things great about psychedelic disco, expect huge dancefloor impact, if you don't believe me ask beppe loda!

Lockwoods - Elbow

j.p. massiera produced oddball jazz funk project released in France in 1981
